What information do we collect about you?
When you engage the services of Busy Biz we will ask you to sign a New Client Agreement detailing the services we will provide and our Terms and Conditions of Business. The information we collect on the agreement are your first and last name, business name, business address, business contact telephone numbers, business website address and business email address.
When you visit our website we also collect information about your use of the website via Google Analytics. The data collected is your IP address, geographical location, browser type, referral source, length of visit and number of page views.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic.
We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.

The information collected on the New Client Agreement is stored electronically for Busy Biz record keeping purposes only.
Data that is collected via Google Analytics is stored within our Google Analytics account. We require this information to help us understand usage patterns of our website i.e. how our website visitors navigate around our site and to provide us with an understanding of which areas of the site are of most interest to our visitors.
Our lawful basis for processing your information
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation we will rely on the following legal bases for processing your personal information:
- Consent: where you have provided your consent to be contacted for specified purposes;
- Contract: we will need to collect and process your personal information in order to fulfil our contract with you.
Retention of your personal information
We will retain your personal information for up to two years following termination of our Client Agreement with you.
Security of your personal information
We take data protection and security very seriously and use all reasonable measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure. We operate on a digital file only basis, using secure cloud storage, a password vault and restricted access to business devices.
Sharing your personal information with third parties
The information you provide on the new client agreement or data within our Google Analytics account will not be shared with any third parties unless we are required to do so by law.
Withdrawal of consent
If at any time you wish us to cease processing your personal information, please contact us to withdraw your consent by emailing us at info@busybiz.co.uk.
Access to your personal information, and changing or removing your information
You have the right to access the personal information that we hold about you and you may also ask us to amend personal information that is inaccurate or to delete your personal information. Please email us at info@busybiz.co.uk.
